Two researchers from the Faculty of Humanities of our university are cooperating with a small team of researchers and professionals from London, Cambridge, Munich, Budapest, Sofia and from CIIRC CVUT in Prague that is working on a study dedicated to understanding the role of internet tracking in the scholarly communication landscape. They are inviting scholars to describe their experience in this context because they believe that evidence-based study can support opening of a fair dialogue about appropriateness, necessity and practice of using trackers and other similar technologies in scholarly communication.

Faculty of Arts Press, a publisher of 16 academic journals in the field of humanities, joined the Open Access programme in 2015. Readers can peruse the collection of journals which are now available online in the updated catalogue. The catalogue provides brief descriptions of the thematic focus of the periodicals, useful contacts that include links to the individual websites of the journals, as well as the information about all international databases indexing the journals.

Corresponding authors of Charles University can use the complete waiver of the open access publication fee (APC) for selected hybrid journals (the journal must be included in the list from Appendix G of the license agreement) published by Taylor & Francis.
