This instance of FAIR Wizard is only for people who have an active contract with Charles University - current students or employees. Therefore, former employees or students do not have access to the service.
If you do not log into CAS very often, please check that you are using the correct login details. If you are still unable to log in, please contact .
Occasionally, you may get the following error message when you try to log into FAIR Wizard:
This message means that FAIR Wizard is in the process of being updated. Updates occur periodically each month - usually in the first few days - and do not last more than a few hours. Should you be unable to log in for an extended period of time, please contact .
The following error may occur when importing projects:
This error means that the answers you are trying to import were created in a different knowledge model than the one you are importing into. Another possibility is that the projects use the same knowledge model, but different versions - content created in version 2.6.8 cannot be imported into a project running in version 2.6.7.
At this point, you will need to migrate the original project to the required version and only then export the answers.
It may happen that one day your project will have an "update available" reminder. This means that the knowledge model you are using in your project has been updated to a newer version.
If you wish, you can update your project - migrate it to a newer version of the knowledge model.
You can do the migration through Settings, by shortcut directly in the project list, or by clicking on the notification itself.
Two knowledge models are currently available in FAIR Wizard: Common DSW Knowledge Model a Life Sciences DSW Knowledge Model. Both of these models are based on the mind map by Rob W. W. Hoofta.
The Common DSW Knowledge Model serves as a generic model that can be used across scientific disciplines. The Life Sciences DSW Knowledge Model is it´s offshoot, created for the needs of the life sciences community.
If you are not in the life sciences, or if you are not sure whether your project belongs in this area, we recommend using the Common model.
You can further filter the questions by selecting the labels of specific calls. The model is designed to be applicable for most of calls, so some questions may not be always relevant to your needs. It is therefore a good idea to take advantage of this feature when creating your project and selecting your knowledge model.
For the purposes of the GAČR, it is currently recommended to use the document template and question labels from the Horizon Europe DMP.
