On November 25, 2020, the international database of open access journals launched a long-prepared new version of the website. Both the user search interface and the registration form for new journals have changed.

About the database
The DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) is an online database managed by the international community that indexes and provides access to quality open access peer-reviewed journals.
DOAJ was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent database contains over 15 000 peer-reviewed open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities.
All DOAJ services are provided free of charge and all data are freely available.
