            * ORCID iD and CrossRef synchronisation

            1) In the ORCID profile, scroll down to the Works section and use the “Add” instruction to

            via “Search & link”.



            2) In the selection, click on CrossRef Metadata Search.



            3) A new tab will open in which you will be prompted to sign in to ORCID.



            4) In the next step, you allow CrossRef to access your ORCID account and add records. To e
            on Authorize access.



            5) Your accounts are now synced and any future entries in CrossRef will be automatically a
            ORCID iD.

            • Synchronisation occurs only if the CrossRef record contains information about your ORCID

            • In the search box, enter your name or another identifier that you use when publishing –

            • Once you find a record that is associated with you, you can add it to your ORCID account
